Lifting heavy things, and then putting them back down.

You probably can't do it, so don't even try.

I'm using an arm sling right now. I've got about 40 degrees of pain free motion

Just don't rush it. Nothing sucks worse than a setback.

I appear to have a torn (or multiple torn?) tendons in my forearm. MRI soon, surgery probably to follow :\

Isn't getting old fucking great?

I've woken up two days this week with severe upper back pain. Simply because I slept wrong. Routinely I woke up with terrible neck and head pain for the same reason.

I used to take a futon chair and position it so it was like a bowl, and then sleep in that all night with zero issues!

I used to be invincible.

Yeah. So I've got a PT person who comes to my house every 2 weeks, and we work through all the things. Neck, shoulders, hip (since the surgery), back, etc. It's actually done a lot of good for things like this.

My wife has told me to get back into yoga. I love yoga and the 90 minute OG P90X was BRUTAL. I think I might have to do it, but I might start with DDP Yoga first. Veteran friendly, and I've heard some miraculous stories about it. Might be the right place to start for an inactive older fella.

Pilates would probably be better for you. I've never tried double-dick penetration yoga, for obvious reason, but whatever floats your boat.

I have genuinely never thought of that acronym. My mind is officially cleaner than yours!

DDP was a professional wrestler. Had serious health issues, met someone about yoga, recovered, started this business, etc.

Ah, let me know how it is. Maybe I need something less tendon-breaky.

MRI confirms severe tear in tendon, mild ligament tear as well. Surgery guaranteed. Bah.

That sucks. Good luck with the surgery.
