Finally...
I and many others have been asking for years why these clearly corrupt assholes enter Congress as paupers and exit multimillionaires. Why do the citizens of the U.S. just accept it as reality? Their personal finances before entering office can be private...ish...fine. However, let's make public servants' finances transparent during their time in office and for a 10 year period after they exit. Want to serve? That's the price.
Let's climb up the asses of all these people with a microscope and see what's what.

Not enough. I would bet that bribe money often goes through the accounts of children or family members. Or their kids get no-show jobs in foreign gas fields, or something. Or their college educations paid for.
Or off-shore, numbered, anonymous bank accounts.
There's a million ways to take a payoff that aren't checked.
I don't know what the answer is, aside from "at the end of your public service you are banished to an island where you cannot live in opulence."

The rest, I don't know. Well, except Mitt Romney. He got super rich before politics.

Yeah, I saw some in there who were legit, but it's fair to want to see where all their money was made, particularly if they got rich post-election.
They wanted to see Trump's taxes, let's see theirs, Rs and Ds alike.
Also, I don't care if their money came from legit places or not, people get arrested and convicted of insider trader. Thus, it is NOT ok for them to engage in it. Full stop. No exceptions.

Remember when Nancy Reagan ran a campaign to get people to not do drugs and got constantly mocked for it? Was it stupid? Yep. Was it the wrong message? Nope. So why mock it? Because the other side is doing it. Our country is run by petty cunts.
But yes, Michelle was right. Vivek was right. Bush Sr was right. Clinton was right. Etc. We need to start teaching healthy habits in the young. Fat lazy kids make fat lazy adults.

That being said, I visited my kid in public grade school lunch for a few years, on his birthday.
And they were always serving super healthy carrot sticks, naan bread, and hummus. And the trash can was full of carrot sticks, naan bread, and hummus.
I think maybe it's more important to get some unhealthy chicken nuggie calories in kids for their afternoon classes, than serve them food they aren't going to eat and spend the afternoon hungry.
Good eating habits start at home, as raising children in general, does.
We need to start requiring licenses to breed.

Veggies should always be on the plate. Fruit, too. Paired with nuggies? Sure.

My kid, unfortunately, grew up with healthy meals at home. So he never liked school lunches, and I was packing a lunch for him 4 days out of 5. It always included fruits and veggies, and usually something hot in a thermos.
Nutrition starts at home. Schools aren't parents. Procreation should require a license and be regulated.

Heinlein?
Agree.
My kids will eat junk like any other person, but their favorite go to snacks are fruits.
Two play sports and the other is in dance.
Speaking of Nancy, one of the best anti-drug posters I ever saw was something along the lines of "she can't light up a joint while underwater" and it showed a kid swimming for her school. Two birds one stone, I guess? But yeah, teaching kids to be active is going to make them healthier, happier, and far less vulnerable to the allure of drugs.
The biggest takeaway is that if we ran the world, everyone would be healthy and all the women would be hot. It's kind of a no brainer.
