But I would like them to elaborate on where self-made billionaires and other wealthy came from.more self-made people such as Bill Gates (Microsoft), Warren Buffet (Berkshire Hathaway), Philip Knight (Nike), and Stephen Schwarzman (Blackstone Group), who had an upper middle-class upbringing and eventually built their own successful companies.

I think a society should also help its citizens, but two things:
1. Society just needs to assure they have opportunity not hampered by red tape or illegally acting competition. "Help" is not giving them everything. Giving people everything is genuinely the worst thing you could do to them.
2. Do these people understand where a government's money comes from? It's genuinely concerning how little they seem to understand about finances.
