Shit.

BTW, if you hit anything you want to recommend, holla. Heading there at the end of May. We've already got reservations at the Delmonico and the new Italian place next to it.

Noodle Asia -
Really fast service. Decent food.

Matteo's Ristorante Italiano -
Meh. Pretentious, very small, and high priced. Heavy on seafood. Service is exceptional, but the food didn't impress. I got the agnolotti and it was fine. My wife got the linguini and again, fine. Probably won't visit again.

After years of visiting Vegas, I finally got to Delmonico.

$300 later, it was worth it. (Not my money, so that helps.)

Atmosphere is a bit meh, but the service and food are outstanding.

Admittedly, I've only used my money there once out of 6 visits.

Some thoughts as I do my expense report...

Delmonico was awesome. We both got the ribeye and split the potato croquettes and asparagus.

A perfect meal and I will be returning.

Grimaldi's Pizzeria, which is in The Palazzo (connected to The Venetian) was pretty damn good.

Grimaldi's pizza is good. I have only been once though. First year I went to the AWS conference, no one made dinner reservations, so it was 7pm, and we had nowhere to eat. We waited TWO HOURS for a table to eat. Also, was the first day, so I had flown in on East Coast time, so was basically awake at 1am PT that day.

1 - Yes, it was good, but I would have eaten shoe leather at that point.

2 - I put myself in charge of all future dinner reservations, and never suffered again.
