Here's why that "make amends" deal actually sucks:
1. You have to use the app.
2. On the app are other money-saving offers.
3. You can only use one offer per order.
4. The $1/$2 "amends" deal counts as an offer.
5. There are better offers than that already on there.
I predict no one is using it.
The only time it makes sense is if you're going in there for just that one single/double burger, and nothing else..... and who does that?
NOW.... pro tip, when my kid still lived at home and we were doing fast-food once a week, we'd both make our own order on our own phone on our own app. That way each of us could use a money-saving offer. We'd just pull into the drive through, "Hi, we have two online orders." We did it a score of times, and were never questioned about the cheesiness of it.
