If I remember correctly, he was drafted by NE and followed McDaniels to to Vegas.

Staley is fired, he just hasn't been told yet. The offseason is going to be really interesting. Harbaugh is going to have a truck of money thrown at him between the Chargers, Raiders, and Bears.

Although, if I'm Davis I really have to think the current staff might be the way to go. The team is playing hard for them. They really need a new GM because there last several drafts have been terrible.

63-7 with 14+ minutes to go in the fourth. Is this a pro game or Bama vs the DII team they play every year before the Iron Bowl?

84 points scored last night. I got curious and looked at my fantasy leagues...

League #1 -
Austin Ekeler for 6 points.
Davante Adams for 24 points.
The Chargers D for -9 points.

All were used in playoff matchups.

League #2 -
Ekeler for 2 points.
Chargers D for -5. This guy had Adams, but left him on the bench instead starting Cedric Tillman...

They play the Bills next week and Hebert is out for the year. Not sure Ekeler's going to have any more good weeks.

Yeah, I have 4 RBs, so I'm pretty good there. WRs is my issue. I have 2 good ones. And one of those is Jamarr Chase :(

I get that. I was thinking this morning, "Do I start Justin Jefferson with Nick Mullens at QB or Rashee Rice with Mahomes?"

A bit after halftime, but the Chargers fired Staley and their GM.

So. like... why does the outside LB coach get to be the interim? Why not one of the coordinators? Or the actual LB coach or something? What's the calculus here? Don't want to upset the DC by promoting the OC to interim? Or something?

I always wonder the same thing. I know sometimes random coaches are the Asst HC, so maybe that's the case here?

Steelers-Colts game

Throw to Pittman who has to basically dive/slide to get the ball. Kazie comes in to defend and leads with the shoulder. He completely turns his head away. Pittman gets nailed, but the hit, from the only angle we're shown, seems to hit Pittman in the side. Flags come in from everywhere. 15 yards for unnecessary roughing and Kazie is ejected?!

UPDATE: While typing this they finally showed a different angle. Seriously, the first 5 minutes they didn't even show a replay, let alone a different angle.

It looks like Kazie hit Pittman in the shoulder/chest, but it was so fast, I completely understand thinking he hit his head. However, there was no replay at all. The booth never looked at it.

So I have questions:
1. Is the WR considered defenseless in that moment, thus the call, and it doesn't matter where the DB hits?
2. There's no review ala college before an ejection?

They didn't even bring in the ref in the booth to explain.

I didn't see the play, but defenseless is during and immediately after a catch, before the WR can react to anything other than catching the ball, iirc.

Earlier in the game, a Colts WR caught a ball over the middle and was running north-south. The same Steelers DB came in and hammered him shoulder to chest right as the ball got there. No flag. Incomplete pass.

I legit have no idea what the difference is aside from where the hit landed.
