Still can't bother to put HDMI/DVI or Gigabit ethernet on their Inspirons.

Their sales are down, so you can't really blame them for trying to hook the jackass crowd.

Catt's right though, push the technology, that'll draw in the nerds, who in turn will recommend the brand to their family and friends.

I've been waiting months for the new Inspirons to come out with the Santa Rosa platform and dual hardrives... Gigabit's not a deal breaker... but lack of HDMI/DVI is painful.

Well, the new Latitudes just hit a month or so ago, so maybe they're working their way up to the Inspirons?

I know the XPSs have the stuff you're looking for.
