The Last Kingdom
The Last Kingdom
It's on Netflix. Season 3 just started, I think. Decided to give it a try. It's more Vikings vs Saxons in the 855 AD time frame. No idea how historically correct (as far as actual characters being real) it is. But it's got my attention. I ended up binge watching a handful of episodes. It's VERY much like Vikings from A&E or History channel (I don't remember who made that). If you liked Vikings, you should like this one. I consider it good acting, good story, good effects, etc.
The Last Kingdom
Pretty much binge watched all three seasons. Good all the way through.
The Last Kingdom
Will add to my list. It's amazing how much stuff I watch now that I'm on my bike 10+ hours a week on my trainer.

The Last Kingdom
Not bad for Netflix
I wish people's names were more distinct. On episode 3, and only now able to realize who is who by name

The names. . . right?! There are going to be about 10 people that I swear have the same name except for 1 letter.
The Last Kingdom
It's good, but I really hate characters who don't do the obvious/easy/good thing and just fight the world for no reason.
He's like Malcolm, except he can fight and gets women.

Hild is hot with long hair. Especially for someone who's the same age as me.

The Last Kingdom
Renewed for season 4, no date yet.
Also, the series is based on a book series, that still has more material left to cover before we get GoT'ed

Cornwell has written 10 novels thus far, with each season of The Last Kingdom covering two, so with four books left, there are at least two more seasons worth of television ready to be made.

The Last Kingdom
I finished season 3 today. The show is good, the treatment of Uhtred gets a little tedious in S3, but overall, it's an entertaining show, worth watching. It's not GoT level of good (fewer characters + plots), but is just unpredictable enough to be interesting.

Season 5 delivers what you'd want from a nice tidy finish.
