That "Driv-e-mocion" is interesting. I can see a lot more road rage flaring up when instead of wondering if that person just called you an asshole, there is definite proof that they did.
Just yesterday a middle aged woman in an SUV flipped me off and mouthed "asshole" at me.... after she passed me in the fast lane, got next to a semi, then slowed down when I got behind her to pass the semi... and I got right on her ass before I hit my brakes.
She got over so I could pass, and that's when I saw the finger and her mouth working.
Oh, she was also on her cell phone.
I pulled up next to her, matching her speed. I was looking right at the side of her head, she wouldn't look at me. I tapped my horn to get her attention. She wouldn't look at me.
I resumed my cruise control and passed her, and she fell faaaarrr behind after that.
This has happened to me twice in the last few weeks. What the hell is wrong with people.

I'm pretty sure that that version has hard-coded messages. The frowny face/"back off" is as hard as it gets.

The other day on the way to work someone ran a stop sign at 35mph and merged into my lane, almost hitting me. I honked at him and he flipped me off.
I pulled up next to him at the next stoplight, and it turned out he was also on his cellphone. I yelled at him and flipped him off.

Last week I was driving along and the road was merging two lanes to one, with the lane I was in as the one continuing on (and I was the only car in that lane whereas the other lane was full of cars). The car next to me (and back a bit, his front fender was even with my rear passenger door) decided he didn't want to yield right-of-way and zipper together nicely behind me like he was supposed to and tried to just pretend I wasn't there and start coming over. My car being much less expensive to fix than his fancy Lexus, I just ignored him. A loud angry horn and one inch of clearence on closest approach later, and he swerved and ended up in the grass on the side of the road rather than hit me or slow down and get behind me like he was supposed to.
I hate asshole drivers.

Someone merged into me today, doing a left turn from the right lane across 2 lanes of traffic. Today, I did a fair amount of driving. Paid more attention to my surroundings than normal as a personal study thing. For the most part, I was surrounded by courtious (using blinkers, letting people merge, etc) normal drivers. There really wasn't anyone driving like an idiot or causing problems. I estimate that about 30% of them were on a cell phone. Either holding it to their head, or talking hands free. However, there were two times that I did encounter an asshole/idiot. First was a truck driver who wouldn't let me merge. The space was tight, I turned on my blinker, he sped up and closed the gap. For no other reason than to be an asshole. Another truck driver put on his blinker and started into my lane. I was going about 10 mph faster than him and was getting ready to pass on his left (multilane expressway). I slammed on my brakes (didn't lock up or anything, but had to slow down quickly). He got back into his lane and hovered there a while. I'm waiting for him to make his move. Then he turns his right blinker on and gets in the lane to his right. No clue what he was doing. I chalked this one up as being an idiot who didn't know where he was going. Neither truck driver was using a cell phone.
