I'll never be rid of him.
This day was full of surprises. Bengals beat the Vikings? Dolphins over the Pats? Eagles curb stomp the Falcons? Saints annihilate the Packers and Winston throws 5 TDs with 0 picks? Cardinals hammer the Titans?
If the Rams win I get $200 from FanDuel. First bet promo. I don't gamble that much. I'm a $5 a game person. The promo is bet $5 on your first bet and win $200 if the team you pick wins.
I would be 1 of 4 on the day for bets. Technically 3 of 6 on picking winners though since one of those bets was a parlay that hit 2 of three games. My losers were the Titans, Patriots, and Falcons.
I also think I ended the season for the Patriots as I bet $1 on them to win the Super Bowl. I'm now seriously considering placing one on the Bucs...

Watched most of the game, but missed that one. I'm sure Stranger has a prediction.
I do know Cleveland needs to treat Baker the same way other teams have used certain QBs. Just make him the game manager and provide heavy doses of Chubb and Hunt.

Browns want KC RB coach fined and/or punished for incident with their player Sunday.
I agree to the point that he was shoving an opposing player.
However...
He was clearly not maliciously shoving the player, but rather trying to get the player off a KC player. There was no intent to injure or harm. He was trying to help his player who was being stepped on by the Cleveland player. I'm not sure it's right to punish such an action.
And yeah, the shove by the player was pretty malicious and deserves a fine.

I completely agree with Cleveland. As far as I could tell from the replay, he was standing over the player, and only had to put his foot down BECAUSE HE WAS PUSHED (I watched this yesterday, so I cannot recall if it was the coach or the player next to him who caused that part).
Fuck that coach. Players are not slaves. OK, I'm hyperbolizing, but still...

That clip in the article does not show the other shove. Who shoved him onto the player? That guy should get fined too. Not the coach for simply trying to ensure the player on the ground isn't hurt.

52 from the front, 45 from the back, with his arm on him. They were not intentionally shoving him, more like they hit/bumped him, knocking him off balance, ironically as they were trying to help the played on the ground, but actually just precipitated the entire situation.

I still stand by what I said. There was no maliciousness in that coach's push and it sets a really bad precedent if you make the line "You can never touch an opposing player for any reason". He was trying to protect a player on the ground and was simply moving a body. I've seen coaches and players from opposing teams interact in this way a million times and it has never been an issue unless something was malicious.
Was Harrison right to get upset? Sure, he was getting shoved from every direction apparently. Was he right to shove an old man not in pads with the intent to harm? Nope.
AFC and NFC West are 8-0 after week 1. I wonder how many times such a thing has happened before?

I'm just going to guess never. The NFC West was the laughing stock for soooo many years. Oakland's been terrible for a long time...
Imho, he escalated the situation, and should be fined.

I think he inadvertently probably did, but again it wasn't due to a malicious act.
Intent is important.
On a totally unrelated note, I thought today was Monday. I just gained an entire day.

ESPN's power rankings are very confusing.
Maybe they're not trying to overreact to week 1, but...WTF?
I'm actually fine with the top 10, but after that it gets weird.
