The Pats just got hosed on that call. You hate to see it. :D

How did they rule this Mahomes fumble an incomplete pass?

Ref defends call.

Remember when the Patriots' dynasty started on the tuck rule, which screwed over the Raiders?

I wonder if this is the call that's signaling a Chiefs' dynasty?

More Titans test positive.

Another Patriot tests positive.

Haskins and Smith getting screwed by Rivera.
League sources had told ESPN's Adam Schefter that Washington coach Ron Rivera put Haskins on notice during a Sept. 28 meeting, telling the second-year quarterback that his performance needed to improve against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4.

Haskins was 32-for-45 for 314 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions (a 31.5 Total QBR) as Washington lost 31-17 to Baltimore.
They're going to start Kyle Allen, who incidentally was with Rivera in Carolina. Alex Smith will be the backup.

Seems like Haskins and Smith are getting the shaft because they weren't Rivera guys.

Haskins has been terrible. But he's also throwing to 1 WR and a bunch of duct tape. His line lost his best protection.

I'd be scared of Smith going anywhere near a field, despite what I've seen + read.

Rivera can't be trying to win, there's no point, imho. So why? Is Haskins done already?

Perhaps it's a long term strategy to break down the habits Haskins developed under the previous regime and build him back up from scratch?

They don't have a Super Bowl winning team, so you're right, why try to win? Perhaps that's why Kyle Allen is getting the nod now? Rivera wants to kick the tires on him too.

Smith is a winner, but he's old. Rivera probably wants to see who he wants to keep around next year.

I guess I forgot Allen was still young. In my head he was generic floating backup. Either way. The team is garbage this year.

A Raider has tested positive, unless he didn't.

Read the article. It's confusing.

Ah, so a source says positive test, but there's no official confirmation.

I just like how the article says he's positive, then says no official word was given, then maybe he was just exposed, and then it just says "who knows".

Well, articles can't exactly be one word can they?

Yet another Titan tests positive.

Apparently the NFL is going to hammer their organization for violating C-19 protocols.

Right, at what point do they make them forfeit a game?

I don't know if you saw the Big Ben headlines yesterday, but that's what he was getting at.

Instead of the Steelers getting a bye week at week 8 now they have to play the rest of the season without one. Why? Because the Titans broke protocol. He was making the point that the Steelers were getting fucked due to the actions of another team, and he's not wrong.

If there's more cancellations or postponements the league is going to run out of time to have a season. The correct thing to do would be to have the Titans forfeit that game and any more they miss. Additionally, I'd make them pay any team they're @ to account for lost revenue and/or expenses to host a game.

That would hit home more than lost draft picks, and would be more appropriate to compensate their opponents.

I'm a little surprised the NFL didn't put more buffer into the schedule, like 2-3 rest weeks.

Yeah, I think a lot of people were surprised by that.

They still can. just add weeks at the end of the season if they need too. It would just push back the Super Bowl a few weeks.
