I've noticed the same memory issues.

I still like it though, so I still use it.

FireFox... why not EVER release some fucking memory you piece of shit?

Memory consumption was at 1.07GB... closed Firefox, down to 596MB.
I swear to Christ that IE has a hideous memory leak when opening & closing browser windows.

I'm using a toolbar for Firefox called StumbleUpon. I love it.
You tell it what you like, click the stumble button, and it takes you to a cool website that reflects your interests. It's a great time killer, and a only a small percentage of the websites sucks.

Yah, I use that to find flash games every once in a while.

FYI, I think Firefox 2 comes out late today.

I'll wait a few days in case it's buggy.

Just installed Stumble. Pretty cool.

The Stumble toolbar is cool. It's great at finding cool stuff.

I just installed Firefox 2.0. I'd been having trouble with the old version not shutting down like it should, but putting in the new version seemed to fix it.

So do you like FireFox 2.0 now that you have had more time to use it?
