I'm getting me a wireless &\or USB trackball device for the laptop. Anyone got preferences or suggestions?

I'm considering this sucker.

Trying to play Thief w\ the fucking touch pad on the laptop is nigh-impossible.

I cannot imagine gaming with that thing.

After a week or so w\ the trackball, I got more precision & speed than w\ any mouse of any type. It's a bit awkward at first, though. I like trackballs better than mice cos I ain't exactly got the table space to be rollin' a damn mouse ten feet in every direction.

I did in fact notice a decrease in precision when I went from a ball mouse to a laser mouse.

But I got sick of cleaning gunk out of the ball mouse rollers.

Yeah its a rough transition but once you do it, it's like second nature. I actually have my wireless mx700 logitech that I use for most things but have a trackball plugged in too in case I am doing some sniping in bf2 or something like that.
