Agreed. They are there to serve ALL of the public. Otherwise they shouldn't have opened a business.

No, there is no defense. This is selective morality and enforcement of people's freedom to have their own opinions.

You're all worried about the "short skip" from deporting illegals to holding American citizens for 48 hours for drug possession, which is its own level of batshit crazy, yet you don't see the problem with the CURRENT environment where opposing viewpoints must be squashed with taunts of bigotry and ignorance and threats of violence?

Now they're saying that your gender is a choice.

Or something.

It's fluid, so it can be whatever you feel...but it's not a choice... (That's all dripping with sarcasm.)

Saw a good meme the other day. "Oh, you want a civil war? One side has 70 million rounds of amunition, and the other side can't decide which bathroom to use."

I don't think the trouble is deciding.

I don't get this either. I thought the call for civil war came from that moderately insane right-wing person I heard on the radio here this week, Michael Savage. It seems like the message is:

"If you try to change the status quo through the legal system, we are going to start shooting people"

Awesome. USA USA.

e: I read this comment like 3 times and finally rose to the bait on the 4th. I suck.

e2: within the same breath he also said we should string up people who make pornography.

Aren't the "antifa" people actually putting on masks and encouraging violence again the right?

Looks like this is a view Savage has had for a while.
Maybe he's just trying to get another bump in book sales. I don't know why all these right-wing media outlets are covering his comments NOW like it's a new view for him, the book came out in 2015.

And I'm pretty sure Michael Savage has been a thing much longer than Infowars. I feel like I first heard him while flipping through radio channels pre-2010.

I was driving in the deep south last Friday. There was an angry man yelling on a radio station as I scanned for music. It was Savage Nation, I stop and hear his whole angry bit:

1) Intro - He read a book, wanted to share
2) A necessary aside - He has to explain that despite his reading of a book, he isn't an intellectual
3) Excerpt from the book - "California is awful, is the root of all evil"
4) Brings it home - California's evil brings about a civil war, which is also the book's title: "The Day of the Locust"
5) A follow-up - Pornographers should be killed (this part involved him making what he thinks are sex noises)
6) A threat - Calls for mob violence to defend Trump from the legal system, aka a right-wing "Day of the Locust"

I think that's the only place his advice is appropriate for.

I swear I used to hear Michael Savage on the radio before smartphones. He had a syndicated show on late at night that was about conspiracy theories or some shit.

I guess I could be wrong, but Art Bell doesn't ring a bell, no pun intended.

Every time I've ever heard Savage's name, I always thought of hearing him on late at night talking about aliens and government conspiracies. I always laughed that the only way this show got airtime was late at night.

If that wasn't him, I have no idea who Michael Savage is...
