I heard something tonight about his death would prevent any civil suit against his estate. That means his kid would get the money.

If his kid is as shallow as Paris Hilton, I guess it's a win.

Is Cleveland really going to piss away $10M on Brock? Did they owe the Texans a solid or something? Were the owners playing a few hands of poker that saw one run out of chips and having to go on credit?

Panther's likely making a tough decision at drafting either RB's Leonard Fournette or Christian McCaffery at #8 overall. I'd be cool with either one.

Personally, leaning towards McCaffery because we already have a similar back to Fournette. McCaffery can play slot receiver while Stewart is in the backfield. But I don't make these decisions, so we'll probably draft another fucking DT.

I've heard the Steelers are in play for a QB in the first round. Great! Let's grab a QB in the worst QB draft in a decade. I'll bet dumb ass Tomlin trades up for one too.

AP to Saints.

I think that gives the Saints 24 RBs.

I think they're banking on Ingram getting hurt or stuffed.

I believe the Browns are getting trades in place with most of the top teams to secure Garrett and either Trubisky or Watson. While I admire their urgency to get the two most positions in the game done at the top of the draft, I don't think they need to trade up to get the QB.

They have a war chest of picks in the next two drafts so they certainly can afford to do it. But I'd rather they hold the line and see if one of those guys are there at 12. But if they only like those two QB's then they have to get one of them whatever the cost may be, they cannot go into next year with Cody Kessler or Brock Osweiler as their QB.

My prediction. The Browns have a trade history with the Titans, so they trade up to 5 and take Trubisky there, or maybe Watson. Not sure I agree with it but I just have a feeling they are going to make sure they get both of those guys.

I do too, and honestly, I think it reeks of...desperation? Is that the word? It's like they're hedging their bets. They're worried that whomever they choose at #1, if he fails, they'll be blasted for it.

It feels like they're really gun shy.

It is totally desperation! c'mon we all know how bad the situation is there in Cleveland. And lets be honest here, that whole front office and coaching staff have no guarantee that they will be back next year. So if they go 1-15 again then they are ALL fired!

I fully expect them to go all in on this draft, they accumulated so much draft currency that they have to use it up this year because they might not be there next year to use those picks. I also think they will trade up from 33 and get somewhere in the late teens, early twenties to get a third 1st round pick.

I am so ready for this draft to get started.

This week I've seen Panther rumors from people-in-the-know I follow on twitter for everything from moving up to #2, to trading with the Browns as mentioned earlier in the thread, trading out of the first for tons of second round picks, to signing a kicker first overall (ok - that one might have been satire).

Just so much clickbait, I'm ready for it to be over. Sources I normally trust have lost their fucking mind.

Yeah, I hate that there's such a sports news vacuum that the draft becomes THE DRAFT... as much talk as there was, I thought it was two weeks ago.

The hot take this morning is Cleveland taking Trubisky at #1 tonight.. That's so Browns of them and I'm beginning to believe that its actually going to happen.
