Did your kids get a good look at Anthony Wiener's cock, for instance?
He wasn't on the computer then, so I wasn't thinking about it at the time..... maybe?

Or wait... was there a second instance?

A cock shot is one thing, hoping you don't have to explain golden showers to your kid is another. In my opinoin.

I'm confused - I thought that wahtstheirclickbaityname leaked it, not cnn? cnn explicitly did not leak it. I read the cnn article and it was all "we're not saying anything cuz it's all unconfirmed"

Buzzfeed.

It was my understanding that CNN repeated it. Mentioning that none it was verified... does that let them off the hook for the sleaze factor?

And I would include newspapers (how quaint) as part of the "MSM." If they are printing the words "golden showers..." it doesn't make it any less... whatever.

Hell, I've ALREADY told my kid more than once not to send pics of his Weiner to chicks, even if they ask, because THAT SHIT NEVER STAYS PRIVATE and he has no one to blame but himself when pics of the anaconda show up in the wild.

But I would rather not explain water sports to him, yet.

To the best of my understanding and memory. CNN's Jake Tapper (disclaimer that he's one of the journalists I consider trustworthy) ran a story about the transition that discussed that members of the intelligence community met with Trump and shared with him a two page report about Russians trying to influence Trump and his administration. The two page report had a summary of the dossier, but CNN didn't mention anything specific in the two page report and didn't mention the dossier at all.

Within 6 hours Buzzfeed releases the full dossier online. Only then did subsequent CNN reports even mention the 36 page dossier that Buzzfeed released, and then it was to differentiate between the two page summary report that they were discussing was not the 36 page dossier that Buzzfeed was talking about. At this point, KellyAnne Conway went on CNN and when they defended their position that they never released or discussed anything in the 36 page dossier, Kellyanne then accused them of lying about anyone from the intelligence community from ever meeting with Trump and having the conversation they reported. Within 48 hours James Comey disclosed that he was the intelligence official that met with Trump and gave him the briefing on the 2 page summary and the CNN report was correct. So I think Comey is back to "traitor to the US" by Republicans and "American Hero" to Democrats. But that might have flipped again within the last 20 minutes.

From near the beginning, I'm not sure why Trump is conflating what CNN reported with what Buzzfeed released. Is there more than a handful of people that DON'T believe that the Russians or any number of other countries would try to get compromising information on whoever is in higher office? And then why would Kellyanne damage her credibility (she was one of the more professional acting players from his election team) by stating that CNN was lying about something that was pretty mundane and true?

I just really don't understand a lot of why Trump does what Trump does.

And Buzzfeed needs to be shunned by every legitimate news organization.

Actually I'm quite certain in the statement made by Buzzfeed's EIC, they released the documents only after CNN had reported on them. So Buzzfeed is the one that linked the two.

Trump feuding with John Lewis.

Lewis calls Trump's presidency illegitimate. Trump responds via Tweet that Lewis should worry about his own job and then goes on about how his area is crime infested and such.

So, of course, the MSM and Dems are painting Trump as a racist, ignorant, monster, etc. Weird how none of them are calling out Lewis for his statement. Trump is being told to respect the civil rights movement, but nobody is telling Lewis to respect the electoral process.

Not saying Trump is in the right, but Lewis isn't either.

For 4 years (or 8) we're going to see people bait Mr. Insecurity and then watch as the MSM attacks him for defending himself.

Well, specifically people were up in arms about Trump calling Lewis "all talk"

Which is a fairly fucked up thing to say about Mr. Lewis given his background. If Trump had just focused on his district or another avenue of attack, there'd be less uproar.

They reported on them only in an extremely vague sense that they were part of the 2 page brief that CNN mentioned. Jake Tapper did not mention the dossier in any fashion. And Buzzfeed can say what they want, if this the incoming administration will go ahead and link them because Buzzfeed said so rather than going back and looking at the original CNN feed, then he has no business speaking ill of our intelligence agencies. Hell, Trump lives on Twitter. Jake Tapper posted the original story in his timeline. No excuse for him and his people to do that.

Trump has no interest in or use for the truth when it doesn't give him the leverage he needs to make a point.

The "all talk" thing was not mentioned in anything I saw. Perhaps I skipped over it.

Clearly the man isn't "all talk", but does make him beyond reproach? His comment, which started this horseshit, was as ignorant as anything spewing from dipshit's mouth. How is calling Trump's presidency illegitimate any different from the birthers or the "9/11 was an inside job" morons?

I'd say it was as bigoted and divisive as what DT spews.

We should be telling Trump when he's wrong. We should be demanding our government work for us and not against us. We should be dictating that our politicians act like adults and not spoiled children. However, we should also call folks without the last name Trump for their bullshit too, like Streep and Lewis.

Increasingly, "We're only as bad as you" is becoming the normalized defense for the Republican party of Trump against the Democrats and as a former Republican it's making me want to puke.

Well for starters, let's just give the opinion a reasonable time to settle. I'd really like to hear the details on the election related hacking . Aren't there like 3-4 investigations between the various agencies?

What if we just got Manchurian Candidated? This board wasn't exactly that equivacle on the the birther stuff at first either. There's at least a little reasonable doubt, right?

We didn't get the Manchurian Candidate. The investigations showed that Russia attempted to hack both parties, definitely succeeded and tried to influence the election by releasing the emails. Pretty sure that's over. Not sure much else new is going to pop up.

I can't stand Trump, but the idiocy of the left has me rooting for him at this point. They are becoming his greatest asset.
