It's Washington. They haven't yet figured out the subtleties of life like left versus right and pissing in private versus public.

Bills talking shit to Patriots.

The league needs Rex Ryan as a coach just because his teams take on his personality and it's entertaining.

I look for the Patriots to beat them by 15 or more, but if the Bills win I might watch Rex's post-game live.

The 3-4 Titans are up 24-0 in the middle of the second quarter. Gus Bradley might be fired tomorrow...

It's a good week to start the Tennessee D.

Well that fell the fuck apart pretty quickly. Benched hurns on his best game so far. My WR radar has been so far off this season, it's fucking pathetic.

I got lucky and started Hurns. Too many other players on byes or out, so I was kind of forced to start him. He outscored my WR corp's total points over the last two weeks combined. My only real decision this week is Questionable Travis Benjamin at Denver or Questionable Martellus Bennett at Buffalo.

Bradley not being fired yet.

I think Khan will let the season play out and make a change later. I mean, if you don't fire him now, when do you do it? They already had their bye week, and the only team with a losing record on the rest of their schedule is the Colts.

I cannot decide if my team is "exciting" or just frustrating to watch. So many chances to wrap up games, and it never happens.

My steady streak of starting exactly the wrong players in the pussy league continues:

Starting: Andrew Luck: under 20 points, bench: Aaron Rodgers, over 30 (best game of the year)
Starting: Will Fuller V (ANOTHER FUCKING WR down to injury -- that's like seven for me this season): 2.3 points, bench: Hurns, 15.8 (best game of the year)
Starting: Ryan Mathews at Dallas (who've allowed 2 rushing TDs this year), benched: Jonathan Stewart: 22 (best game of the year)

Catt league:

Starting: Titans D, 3 points. Benched: Carolina D, 19 points.

Because of course this happens in Cleveland.

Yes, that's a dildo... Well, at least that didn't happen in Cleveland.

Was there some type of satanic ritual held whereby all the other teams in that berg are somehow channeling their intrinsic suck into the Browns?

Old Man Johnson retires about two years too late.

Brock Osweiler's Forest Gump season.
If you are a big fan of QB Wins as a decisive statistic, Brock Osweiler is your type of quarterback.

The Houston Texans passer moved to 5-3 on the year with Sunday's victory over the hapless, injured Detroit Lions. In 15 career starts, Osweiler is 10-5, despite completing 60.3 percent of his passes for 6.4 yards per attempt.

After Sunday's win, owner Bob McNair defended his $72 million quarterback's progress, noting that Osweiler hasn't started the equivalent of a full season.
Yep, and you paid $72M fucking dollars for him.

It's Monday so Josh Norman's mangina must be bleeding.
In perhaps the most predictable moment of the NFL season thus far, Redskins cornerback Josh Norman went on a tirade against field judge Brad Freeman after the team's 27-27 tie in London where he was called for a pass interference once and hands to the face a startling four times.

"Who's No. 88? He sucked. I'll be honest with you, he was terrible," Norman said, making reference to the number on Freeman's shirt. "I feel some of the plays going on out there, I mean it was terrible. It's just how I'm feeling and how the team feels right now. It needs to be watched and reprimanded. They reprimand us, so what's the reprimand for them?"
...
Norman was flagged four times for illegal hands to the face and was upset about it. After re-watching the game, it was clearly a point of emphasis from officials. Norman started many routes in press coverage against A.J. Green and during the flagged plays, the route began with a slap or punch to the face. While some officiating crews may let you get away with it, the refs on Sunday were calling by the book. Good cornerbacks adjust to the flow of games. Norman kept doing it in hopes that it wouldn't be called, which is fine except for the fact that those calls essentially gave the Bengals more time to collect themselves and send in or adjust plays down the stretch of a tight tie game.
Cam Newton dons a pimp suit and bitches out officials.
"It's really taking the fun out of the game for me honestly," Newton said after the Panthers' 30-20 win over the Cardinals on Sunday. "Because at times I don't even feel safe. And enough is enough. I plan on talking to Commissioner Goodell about this. But it's not fun. And I don't know what I have to do."

The Carolina Panthers quarterback was hit low by Calais Campbell in Sunday's victory. There was no flag on the play.
...
In the season opener, Newton was the subject of controversial non-calls when he was hit in the helmet multiple times without penalties being called. Questions were also raised as to whether concussion protocol was implemented properly after he was allowed to play shortly after taking a late-game hit. In Week 5, Newton suffered a concussion on a legal hit while he was running in for a two-point conversion against the Atlanta Falcons. He missed the next game.

NFL responds in the most baffling way possible.
From the league’s perspective, the officials have missed three roughing calls on Cam since the start of the 2013 season. (Yes, that seems low.) Eleven other quarterbacks, by the league’s count, have had more missed roughing calls: Jay Cutler, Alex Smith, Geno Smith, Josh McCown, Andrew Luck, Matt Ryan, Kirk Cousins, Joe Flacco, Ben Roethlisberger, Case Keenum, and Ryan Tannehill.
"Yeah, we kind of suck at calling them on you, but no worse than anyone else."

"So ... you kind of suck in general?"

So the Vikes walk into this game behind even the likes of the Bears in pretty much every major offensive category, and now it appears the Chicago D is enough to keep Bradford in check -- the defense of a team dead last in the division with a point differential of more than 50 against throughout six games. But here comes Bradford, commanding an offense that's off the field in less time than it takes your average sixteen year old to fuck.

Sam Bradford
Matt Asiata
Jerick McKinnon
Ronnie Hillman
Stefon Diggs
Coradelle Patterson
Charles Johnson
Kyle Rudolph

"I'll take starting players putting up third-string numbers for $400, Alex." Shit, I just saw Bradford trot up the pocket into a pass rusher's arms last drive.

Cam Newton is a whiny bitch.

Hey Cam, if you don't want to get hit, stop running so much. Also, if you don't want defenses taking shots at you, stop parading around like a peacock every time you have a little success. Remember when this idiot ran for a TD which only put his team behind by 3 TDs and he celebrated like he won the Super Bowl?

Being a Steeler fan I watch Big Ben get mauled all the time and he doesn't complain. Steelers' OT Gilbert agrees.

Cam is an amazing talent, but his attitude is complete shit. He's a spoiled brat of an athlete.

Word is the Vikes are going to trade for a new O-lineman or two prior to the trade deadline.

Re: NFL

I hate having roughly equal players, because each week is lineup roulette.

Need: 2 WRs, one RB/WR

Players:
Davante (WR) Adams hosting Indy
Hurns (WR) at KC
Tyrell Williams (WR) at Tennessee
Jonathan Stewart (RB) at LA

KC and Tennessee are so bad against the pass, but Indy's D is flaky. Stewart looks like he's finally getting some goal line time now that Cam is all concussed and turtling. On the flip side, Adams is outpacing Jordy for targets, catches, and yards.

In other news, Jamaal is going under for his second knee surgery, so goodbye for the rest of this season.
