No shit? RG3 not using the Browns #1 security blanket, and ends up getting hurt. Guess I shouldn't be shocked on that one.

At least he's an upgrade over Josh McCown. I still think they will and should draft a QB at number 2.
Awesome! Browns and Skins even play this year at FedEx, I believe.
That is a fact. Please don't hurt him...
Guess we won't get the chance.

Have only been watching occasionally but from what I've seen I get why they paid big bucks for Norman. Every other CB is getting jobbed.

Yeah. Our D sucks. Our D coordinator has never been good, but we hired him anyway for some reason. Sigh. Oh well.

The Tuesday redux:

Case Keenum keeps job after LA challenges Frisco for "most hopeless team" in the NFC West. Opening your new season for a new city and you: (i) get shut down by, on its best day, an average defense, (ii) get killed by Carlos Hyde while being (iii) unable to force a single turnover from Blaine Gabbert or even sack him once. They don't hand out report cards for first games, but when both sides of the ball regress against one of the previous season's weakest teams -- you get a fucking F.

"We're not dirty."

Kaep and Ko expands its ranks.
As 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and safety Eric Reid kneeled during the playing of the national anthem in their continued gesture to raise awareness of social injustices against African-Americans and minorities in the United States, teammates Antoine Bethea and Eli Harold joined them before Monday's victory over the Rams.

Bethea and Harold stood for the anthem, but each raised a fist, as did Rams defensive end Robert Quinn and wide receiver Kenny Britt.
Kaep and Dil-weed-fer.
Dilfer’s blast was even more pointed, as the former quarterback said that Kaepernick "is a backup QB whose job is be quiet and sit in the shadows," while claiming that the controversy has "torn at the fabric of the team."
...
"I think that’s one of the most ridiculous comments I’ve heard," Kaepernick told reporters following the 49ers' 28-0 victory against the Los Angeles Rams at Levi’s Stadium. "The fact (Dilfer) says, 'You are a backup QB, stay in your place.' That’s an issue.
That is rich talk coming from Trent, a dude who's major claim to fame is a Super Bowl ring he won by having the tremendous good fortune to be on the right team at the right time. You could have propped up a scarecrow in the backfield and as long as the hay was thick enough for the football to stick in after the hike, that team still wins that championship. That ring should be engraved with "Ringo" instead of "Trent."

"But at the end of the day, there's still a little sour taste in my mouth." That taste might be Downtown Tony Brown's dick after your entire secondary sucked it last night.

Browns don't regret failure to draft a QB on QB. I assume because they have so many other failures to regret, that one's too far down the list to think about.

Something you didn't see and worth listening to.

I know you didn't see it or hear it because who would watch that game?

And his parents are proud of him. That's great parenting right there. Imagine if their son had died or been injured in the stunt. I'm sure they'd be suing everyone. As stupid as this kid is, his parents are worse.

Best comment I've heard on this moron's stunt was from Christine, Cowherd's sidekick, and she said, "He rushed for more yards than the Rams!"

In other news, Josh Norman is a hot topic in the sports media right now. They want to know why he wasn't covering Brown all night. Why did Washington pay him $75 million if he's not always on the best receiver?

Did you see my earlier comment about our D coordinator being a tard?

Josh Norman plays left corner. The end. They don't move him around.

I'm serious.

So you're saying opposing teams can neutralize your best pass defender just by shifting their best WRs to the other side of the field? Brilliant.

And that's exactly what Pittsburgh did with Brown.

But eventually they'll sign two big name backs, and then they got everything covered ... unless they put them both on the left.

BTW - pretty sure this is a Redskins thing. The Panthers have had Josh shadow Julio Jones for the past few seasons?
