I'm chalking this up as a victory. You've now spun this in a Trumpian-like manner into my complete disdain for the armed forces.

Because this is perfect Drumpf fodder. Shit, I almost think Colin called him up and offered to stir up controversy for a few million. He knows his football career is about over, maybe he's getting into acting.

Look, I love this country. I actively promote it as the best in the world, because it is. But it could still be better.

I think they gave Leisher's team to someone else.

If this is true, it kind of erodes my support for Kaep.
Kaepernick, 28, who has come under fire for his decision to remain seated during the playing of The Star-Spangled Banner before San Francisco 49ers games, reportedly began dating Hot 97 DJ and MTV host Nessa Diab in July 2015. A few months later, his social media posts began to reflect the Black Lives Matter and Muslim activism of Diab.

Did they? I was about to set the keepers.

Let me know.

By the way, whoever ran that team previously had no clue what they were doing.

10 team leagues suck. Auctions are so much more boring.

Went from a 12-team auction league down to 10. Drafting went from "requires skill" to "could've been in a coma and still done ok."

1) First year of one keeper per team => fewer superstars to bid on
2) Fewer teams => superstars go for higher than usual

$250 starting cash. My keeper.
Jordan Reed, Wsh TE K $3
Some owners kept players for $50 or more. Wtf? I bought two early for what was cheap at that point...
Aaron Rodgers, GB QB $32
Jonathan Stewart, Car RB $33
... then watched everyone else piss away dollars on meaningless bidding wars while I sat on $180. Eventually, everyone but me was under $100 and I started making moves. Two modestly priced acquisitions later, I've sewn up my QB position and gotten a cheap WR with little to no target competition.
Andrew Luck, Ind QB $11
Jarvis Landry, Mia WR $16
By this point I've got a short list of players I'm gunning for and no one has any hope of stopping me. Two of them come up on the block:
DeMarco Murray, Ten RB $39
Ryan Mathews, Phi RB $25
Ryan Mathews looked great last year except for Murray stealing his carries, and DeMarco looks good now that he's back in an offensive system better suited to his style. Shored up my WRs with
Eric Decker, NYJ WR $15
Allen Hurns, Jax WR $10
Then I had a thought: why not steal all the red zone TD pass catcher RBs?
Theo Riddick, Det RB $9
Danny Woodhead, SD RB $15
Darren Sproles, Phi RB $4
Detroit doesn't give it to Abdullah inside the 20 without reservation. Woodhead's moved up the depth chart because SD is down one RB. You think they're giving it to Melvin Gordon on the goal line? Then there's Sproles, who's one Ryan Mathews injury away from being very significant.

Hey, Washington's playing tonight, right? Means it's about time for the preseason injury bug to fuck me over and kill Reed.

Final pre-season game, isn't it? Starters mostly resting.

I don't mean it'll be on the field. It'll be something stupid, like he snaps his Achilles getting up from the bench to shake hands.

Well, good news for you is that the starters didn't even fly down to Tampa for the game. So, as long as he didn't hurt himself putting on a shirt, he's fine. For now.

Early projections

I've been seeing a lot of Dallas on top of the NFC East. Starting with the Giants and Redskins without Romo will tell us a lot.

I see a ton of 7-9 predictions for the Skins. It's a tough schedule, and our D has holes. But I still feel 8-8 :)
