Stranger Things

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

I watched the first episode. Takes place in the 80s, graphical stuff is in the 80's style, the music during the show screams "John Carpenter."

Pretty good acting, I thought.

Ended strong, and fucked up, and left a lot of questions. I wonder if S2 is going to cover the same characters.... or show us other, stranger, things that have happened..

Finished watching this series last night and its excellent. Like Gordon said, really good 80's vibe and feel. Unlike most horror or thriller movies of today its like watching an old Spielberg or Stephen King movie.

I'd wager real money that Stranger started watching this series thinking it was a show about things in his house.

Well no, but I did originally read this thread a couple months ago thinking that it was a thread you made about me.

Glad I looked though, I really liked this series!

The wife and I are three episodes in and love it.

The whole EVERYTHING is 80s is blowing me away. Amazing attention to detail. Love the movie posters on the walls (The Thing, Evil Dead, etc.).

I weep for people who don't know about Barb.

No, the fact she is a dishonest POS is why I hate her.

She lied to cockblock you as a teen? Yeah, they'll do that.

Great show.

For season 2 I really thought the scene of ________ getting into the car was a hint to where it was headed.

This has spoilers so don't watch if you haven't seen the show.

Some names joining the cast.

Reiser would be excellent playing the same guy he played in Aliens.
