Note to self: "sleeping" isn't "impaired."According to police reports, the crash happened at 4:20am and both Robinson and an adult female passenger were "asleep/passed out" but because the officers felt they were not impaired, Robinson wouldn't be charged with a DUI and no citations would be issued.

Louis Murphy finds himself asleep but not impaired.
Murphy, according to the Palm Beach Daily News, was attending the wedding of his Florida teammate Deonte Thompson at a mansion-turned-museum and fell asleep in the courtyard.

When he woke up around 1 a.m., all his friends were gone and the courtyard had been locked.

Browns lose a player to injury already.
Bryant suffered the injury while lifting weights in the gym, a source infomed of his injury told NFL Media's Ian Rapoport.

In about five seasons from now, I assume you'll only be able to bring down a QB by grabbing the flag tucked into his waist.
Although hits to the head of defenseless players have received the bulk of the attention in discussions on player safety, the league is also increasingly concerned about low hits. And this year officials are being instructed to keep a closer eye on low hits to quarterbacks.

Former wrestlers suing WWE over brain injuries and employment classification.
Why am I posting this in the NFL thread? Because this case could carry weight in the exact same lawsuits the NFL faces. More so because this trial will happen in Connecticut, which is friendly to hometown WWE. Also because the lawyer involved has apparently been trying to sue WWE non-stop and failing at every turn. If he fails here, this is something NFL lawyers could point to as precedent, both with the brain injuries and with the employment classifications.
One thing the WWE has going for it is I don't know of any stories coming out where Vince McMahon knew about brain science like we're hearing NFL owners knew.

The WWE scripts a lot of its events. The NFL doesn't. One could argue the WWE has more control over the choreography going on.
