Had a show where some guys got shot. I'll say this is nothing new at rap shows.
Bratton made the comments on WCBS 880 radio Thursday morning (via Buzzfeed). "The crazy world of these so-called rap artists who are basically thugs that basically celebrate the violence that they've done all their lives," Bratton said. "And unfortunately that violence often times manifests itself during their performances, and that's exactly what happened last evening."
Allow me to quote the classic rock radio station KDST's DJ (Axl Rose) from GTA: San Andreas:
“Any radio station can play songs about abusing drugs and abusing women, but we’ve been doing it successfully for 22 years. You’re listening to The Dust.”
That game was supposed to take place in the early '90s. Singling out rap for this is really putting some fucking blinders on.
Diogenes of Sinope: "It is not that I am mad, it is only that my head is different from yours."
Arnold Judas Rimmer, BSC, SSC: "Better dead than smeg."
