Wtf happened to Chandler Jones? Looks like he OD'd on pills and shambled his way into a pig pen. He went to the hospital where he may or may not have been on life support. He wasn't charged with anything and went back to practice the next day. Also, since it's the Patriots, somebody has to be lying and covering shit up.
The Foxboro police Chief lied to the Boston Herald and has been in charge of stadium security at Gillette Stadium for 31 years.

Johnny Fucko is most likely done in Cleveland.

First-graders show more class than most of the Twin Cities.

Another day another example of the Patriots getting away with something.

Lawrence Phillips finally gets out of jail.

Tom Osbourne's legacy.

Johnny Fucko is most likely done in Cleveland.

The real question is who will be the head coach and starting QB for Cleveland in two years?

Chandler Jones.
The report adds: "Mr. Jones was unable to provide us with a plausible or legitimate explanation as to why he had gone to the rear door of our police station."

Foscaldo wrote it was evident that Jones was "desperately seeking our assistance." Jones was not armed, did not have any narcotics on him and managed to be polite and cooperative, the report stated.

"He had certainly not committed any crimes - nor had he violated any laws or town bylaws," Foscaldo wrote.
...
Another report released today states that police were dispatched to Jones’ nearby home. While in an ambulance, Jones remembered he left his keys at his place, the report said. The door’s home was open and the responding officer “noticed the smell of burnt marijuana.

If bud did this to Jones, I need to talk to him and find his source.

Personally, I'm very pleased and quite surprised that the Browns were able to get Hue Jackson. He's a well respected coach with experience that has a good track record with QB's. Plus he's coached in the division with Cincy and Baltimore so he knows what is expected and what it takes to win there.

I'm not making any claims of greatness but he should be the best coach the Browns have had since their return (that doesn't really say much). But I'm glad they didn't just jump for some flashy name like Chip Kelly or even a young inexperienced Adam Gase. Hue is exactly what Cleveland needs in a coach.

Have fun with a Chief Strategy Officer who's been bounced around MLB like a cheap whore.

He's looking for a new project.
"I think for Colin Kaepernick's career, it's one of the best things that could have happened for him," Mayock added. "... It's very quarterback-friendly as far as the pass game is concerned. There are a lot of fairly simple reads and I think Kaepernick can pick it up very quickly and I think you'll probably see a very efficient and very effective Colin Kaepernick next year."

Anyone want to take that bet?

Prediction: 5-11 49ers next year. 7-9 after that. 6-10, Kelly fired.

If the Rams stick around in the West, they'd have to beat out Seattle or Arizona to have a serious bid for a wild card. That's assuming they can overcome the Rams, which they can't.

I actually agree, although I enjoyed Cowherd talking about how Goff should become the NFL's first draft dodger.

Hue is a good coach, but he's got a long up hill climb and I'm still not sold on ownership or the front office. The whole team needs to basically be rebuilt and the attitudes of everyone changed.

And yeah, I think Chip will help Cap get some steam again, but who's going to fix their defense?

And I think if Lewis loses in round 1 again next year, he'll be fired in favor of Coughlin.

Just more proof that Adam Jones is a moron. If anyone sees his apology let me know.

The Steelers will having trouble winning without Brown. Even if he had a bad game, he'll still draw a lot of attention. Throw in Ben's bad arm (if he even starts...he hasn't been practicing) and I think the experts are right that Denver routs them.

If I'm Pittsburgh, I stack the box Sunday. Manning is starting and has a weak arm, has battled injuries, just got back after missing most of the season, and has been turnover prone. It's amazing to say this, but he's the weak link for them on offense. You can force him into bad throws and possibly turnovers if you shut down their running game. Then maybe you get Ben and Brown healthy for KC/NE.

Still, I would have rather missed the playoffs and gotten a higher draft pick than watch an injured team fizzle out in the playoffs.

In your other news, Detroit had to keep him. Who else are they going to hire? Plus, give him another year and see what he does, which will help you justify his firing more if he fails again.
