If Brown was acting he should get an Oscar. Not only did he immediately cause himself to lose consciousness, which is evident in the replay, but he also is able to perfectly fake a concussion and might have to sit the next game. This might be the greatest acting performance in history.
The hit Shazier committed should have received a flag, but wasn't malicious. He wasn't trying to injure anyone.
The hit on Brown was a deliberate attempt to hurt him.

I saw that last night. He's an absolute idiot. And you'd really have to be if you're that talented and even the Cowboys didn't want you anymore.
The NFL had an official on during Sportscenter who said Porter had every right to be on the field to check on the injured player, which he did.
He was then shoved in the back by Bengals #95 into a group of Bengals and the referee came over, which is when Jones earned his flag.
And did anyone notice all the Bengals coaches on the field at that time?
I also don't understand Jones' rant about Brown faking his injury. Even if he was, it's still an illegal hit. Is Jones so stupid that he thinks flags are only thrown if someone gets hurt?

Eh, when I was born, this was my home team. I'm a free agent fan. This time around was a wild card game, at least. It's not like the NFC championship game a few years back when New Orleans killed Favre and his career on that very same field. The dome's roof had ripped over due to mythical levels of snow.

1. I can revel in the wins AND
2. NOT feel crushed by the losses.
Works out great. Hell, I was at the gym when the fourth quarter was going on. Place was damn near deserted. Awesome. I didn't feel low when the kick I didn't witness hooked to the left. I laughed my ass off. I'm probably also one of the 1% of the city that doesn't want Blair Walsh burned in effigy. I had more apprehension watching the stats and final game of my fantasy championship.

The NFL announced Monday that Burfict has been suspended without pay for the first three games of the 2016 regular season for repeated violations of safety-related playing rules.

Both players couldn't be more heartbroken, literally to tears, both of them, about what went on
Yeah, I saw one of them on instagram ranting in a manner that crackheads would consider uppity and overanimated.
Lewis doesn't believe Burfict went too far with his hit.
Every game, all season
"It didn't go over the edge," Lewis said of Burfict's hit. "Unfortunately, he can't have that kind of blow with a guy that's receiving a pass. It didn't go over the edge."
...
I don't think it's over the line, I think it's part of what football is now
Lewis was criticized by some of his own players after the game for allowing the contest to get out of hand, but he argued that "once they go across that line, there's not much I can do from there, unless I go out on the field, which I'm not allowed to."
Fucking wow. How does he keep his job after this?

Because they look at Cleveland and realize what could go wrong. Remember when Cleveland fired Schottenheimer for playoff failures? Someone else did too...San Diego? Didn't work out for either.
Because they look at Pittsburgh and Baltimore and see stability and success.
Lewis is a good coach, and I don't blame him entirely because he's not the one signing these assholes, but someone in that organization needs to be a leader. If he refuses to do it, fire him.

And that plan, according to Sam Farmer of the Los Angeles Times, is this: The Rams and Chargers would share the Inglewood stadium, which would be the centerpiece of a 298-acre entertainment complex that one unnamed owner has dubbed “NFL Disney World.”
There’s just one minor problem: Chargers owner Dean Spanos wants nothing to do with that compromise.
...
As for the Raiders? They’re probably stuck in Oakland in the short term, as there’s little support among NFL owners for them to move back to Los Angeles. Farmer says they still could explore a move to another city like St. Louis or San Diego or share the San Francisco 49ers’ recently built stadium in Santa Clara, about 40 minutes south of Oakland.

The NFL's six-owner committee on Los Angeles opportunities recommended the project headed by the San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders to build a $1.7 billion stadium in Carson, California, sources told ESPN, confirming multiple reports.
This doesn't mean shit until the owners vote on it, but it gives the tentative nod to the Raiders + Chargers joint stadium. I note the one opposing vote came from the KC Chiefs, who stand to benefit most from sponging up ex-Rams fan money.

IMHO, that's the worst option. LA did not support the Raiders when they were there. Clearly fans of the Rams want them back. And nobody really cares about the Chargers.
Plus, if you go with the Chargers/Rams you already have your conferences aligned perfectly. Having two AFC teams in the same city? One's going to need to move to the NFC, which means someone from the NFC will need to move to the AFC.

Apparently, the Rams to LA alone is out. Raiders/Chargers to Carson received 12 votes, but Rams/TBD in Inglewood received 20 votes.
According to the video there, Spanos (owner of the Chargers) has the political clout to block a move. They're saying the owners will spend the week trying to convince him to dump Mark Davis, who he's tight with, and get on board with the Rams.

Hah. St. Louis sucks so bad, even the Rams want to leave. I don't think the Raiders or Chargers will move there.
