If they're so bad that you won't forget them, then removing the items from your list has minimal benefit.

Only in the sense that one never forgets having had cancer. Doesn't mean there's not a benefit to removing the cancer.

I've seen many, many, many movies. Some good, some bad, with and without quotes around each. There are a few truly bad ones I still forget.

Still, if you had been forced to keep the DVDs of all the bad movies you had watched then one day there was an update to shelves and you could finally take those awful DVDs and throw them away, wouldn't you?

I don't have to keep DVDs the same way Steam doesn't make you keep games. The only time they arguably take up physical space is during a quantum existence that spontaneously occurs when your eyes lock onto the text in your menu. Can't you just tag or label games "Fuck this shit" and set up a library filter so you never see them anymore?

I still have DVDs of movies I didn't like.

If they added a tag that said "Deleted" and it showed up for games you deleted from your library, that would make this feature far more useful.

And I still wouldn't delete any because a) you never know and b) I have shitty games under a "meh" list and know not to play them.

To each his own, I guess.

My groups are:
Favorites
10 Currently Playing
20 Games Played w/ MentalClinic
30 Occasionally Playing
40 Never Played
50 Never Installed
60 Played & Loved
70 Played & Okay
80 Played & Meh
zzz Never Fucking Again

I will be happy to delete everything in that last one. It will be the most enjoyment I've gotten out of those games.

Steam updated on me and I got the "Restart Steam to apply changes?" message, and I hit restart, and it uninstalled Steam. Had to reload it. The website didn't even recognize my browser when I went to DL it again... it made me enter a verification code.

If it IS a caching issue, I assume person B is seeing the customer info of the purchase person A made right before them. So I would be good, not having made a purchase in a couple weeks.

I haven't purchased anything since the Summer Sale.

I will be buying stuff this sale though.

Speaking of that, Total Annihilation and Supreme Commander (and expansion) can be had for $5 (for both) on Steam now.

I bought something today. I bought the Steam Link to see about gaming from my computer onto my TV, instead of buying an XBox.

Also bought Lego Star Wars to see if my kids like it.

Although, I bought the Link from Amazon cuz it was free shipping.
