Cousins gonna get paid?
If Cousins thinks he can make $16 million per year — laugh if you wish, but that’s what Andy Dalton got per year on his deal before his breakout this season, and Dalton’s deal ranks 18th in average salary per season among NFL quarterbacks according to Spotrac — is that a good investment? Or do the Redskins just slap the franchise tag on him to get another year of evaluation? The franchise tag last year was $18.544 million. Wow.

Ugh, no, please, no.

He'll get the franchise tag and RGIII will be sent packing.

What if he ends up in Philly and wins a Super Bowl with Chip Kelly?

There's 3 things wrong with that statement. 4 if I think a little harder.

And I had to start Steffon Diggs because Allen Hurns was a game time decision.

Hurns was not game time. I knew on Friday that he was a go barring a pregame practice setback.

Those are the same statements, the team is broken. Broken. Neither of these QBs is worth a damn, though.

I've slightly more faith in Gabbert's throwing abilities than Kaep's, mainly because Gabbert doesn't have his legs to fall back on.

There's 3 things wrong with that statement. 4 if I think a little harder.

At least four.

I'm thinking the coach would've tossed his ass to the curb months ago if not for the execs.

Not according to the ESPN alerts I was getting.

That'd be Washington's luck though. Just like how Cleveland fans say things like, "Watch, we'll release Manziel's dumb ass and Pittsburgh will pick him up and win two Super Bowls with him." (That's a direct quote from a Cleveland fan I work with.)

The NFC East is too bad for that to happen. Though I could see him being a backup in Dallas, and beating us last game of the season to clinch the division, or some bullshit.

Need Landry Jones to score 10 tonight. Go Dolphins.

Panthers are just making me happy. Not much else to be said. Also, Nashville rules.

I finished 7th in my 12 team league, so out of the big playoffs. I had a bye this week. Of course, I've scored the 2nd most pts.

If I had played this week, I would have started a different lineup, and had 35-49 more points. My band of misfits exploded at the wrong time.

Christ. Hartline's gone for the season, which means Barny should only get more targets.

Johnny Tradebait isn't winning over analysts.
NBC's Rodney Harrison was more brutal.

"If I'm a guy in that locker room, I don't want to play with Johnny Manziel," said Harrison. "Simply I can't trust him. I don't know what Johnny Manziel is going to show up. The professional one. Or the drunk one."
...
How long will it be before Jerry Jones' Cowboys makes a play for him?

Hah.

Dalton's thumb is not in need of cutting.

Hoyer is out.

I may have had my worst fantasy season ever, but at least I won't be playing in the toilet bowl.

I won despite only getting 8 points total from my QB and a RB before they were lost for the game. Thank you Teddy Ginn Jr. and your 2 receptions on the day for 120 yards and 2 TDs!

I'm 7-7 in one league, but it only has a top 4 playoff, else I would have been in (6th seed). The other league 12 teams, 6 team playoff, I was 7th seed.

Which is pretty much about how I do every year.

Jarvis Landry scored 9, I needed 10 for the win.

Which meant I fucking tied ANOTHER game. League shouldn't be rounding to whole numbers, it's fucking shit up.

Ah, Jerry.

Ravens pick up a hammer.

Fins fucked.
It's crazy to think that just a few months ago, after the signing of Ndamukong Suh and the acquisition of receivers like Kenny Stills and tight end Jordan Cameron, that we were talking about a Super Bowl. A study done by the fine folks at Harvard pegged them to win the division!

I've said time and time again, fuck Harvard.
