Mathews passed the neuro test and was back practicing. Fuck yeah.

I had it confirmed to me last night that the fines go to a charity. Basically, the NFL gives the player a list of charities that are approved. The player selects one and the money goes there. Then the player gets to write it off on their taxes.

It's one of the few things the NFL does right.

I'm sure Stranger knows all about this, but a former Browns radio guy is claiming there's some huge sexual harassment scandal going on in the Browns' offices.

Hilarious. Cleveland just keeps getting better.

Bart Scott hid in a bathroom to avoid signing with the Browns.

One of the smartest piss breaks ever.

Rams, 49ers, Cowboys, and Eagles are in the running for Manziel.

Rams: no fucking way. They've got enough problems with shitty QBs who don't act like they're still in high school.
49ers: maybe. I haven't seen Johnny outperform Blaine Gabbert yet.
Eagles: depends whether or not Chip's got a job. He's not a Johnny backer.
Cowboys: because Jerry Jones is insane. Ding ding ding.

Gronk back at practice. Everyone remembers the last time he rushed back from an injury, so this should be fun to watch.

Ryan Mathews practiced in full today which means he passed the protocol. Sweet.

Vikings are hanging with the Cards down to the last seconds of the 4th, with the purples being down their top four defensive players ....

aaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnndddddddd Bridgewater loses the fumble on 3rd down IN FUCKING FIELD GOAL RANGE as the clock expires. Nice work, fuckwit.

Goddell-bot talks about how badly his anti-concussion measures are implemented.
"He should have been removed from the play, but it wasn't the ATC spotter," Goodell said. "The ATC spotter is just to make sure the medical personnel sees (these) individuals ... We did not want the ATC spotter, making some type of evaluation from the top of a stadium.

"What we want to do is make sure the ATC spotter is alerting medical personnel on the field when there is an issue and some player is either in distress, disoriented, or something that we think requires medical attention. And in that case, they go to the sideline and the proper medical people go through the protocol, and that's doctors as well as trainers and the independent neurologists."

Let me bring those two phrases into focus:
"We did not want the ATC spotter, making some type of evaluation from the top of a stadium..."
"What we want to do is make sure the ATC spotter is alerting medical personnel on the field when there is an issue"

What stupid fucking catch 22 kind of logic is that? The spotter's not supposed to make an evaluation but he has to know when there's an issue the medical personnel missed?

Cash league:
I'll know my total by the end of the first game. My opponent is more or less the same, except with two dudes going in the second set. Whiskey and whisky on standby.

Catt league:
All my players go in the first set of games. Opponent has half his team going between Sunday and Monday night.

they're not as bad as you think. SF is MUCH better with Gabbert at QB than Kap.

I'm just going to leave this here.

Cash league:
Put up high score for the 1st week of the playoffs. Wilson and Baldwin were all-stars, Reed and Barny both near doubled their projected points.

Catt league:
Wilson and Baldwin may knock me out of the loser bracket in the 1st round, but eh, whatever. I need Beckham to suck for a game if I hope to win. Fucking Jeremy Hill and the Lions D hurt. Olsen didn't help (I benched Reed, the wrong TE).

Blount is out for the game. If LaFell and Gostkowski don't go insane, Odell will need a respectable game to knock me off.

In other news, how shitty do the Chargers look? They're riding that Melvin Gordon titanic straight to the ocean floor.

Goddamn gostkowski. Still, I'm up 218-202 and he's only got Odell.

Because SF was playing better with Kaep?

Kaep is on the same career track as RGIII.

Goddamn gostkowski. Still, I'm up 218-202 and he's only got Odell.

I'm up 16 as well. He's only got Landry left, whom I cut earlier this year, so I fully expect that to bite me in the ass.

This week has sucked.

My starting QB: Dalton (out of the game on the first drive)
One of my starting RBs: T.J. Yelton (out of the game around halftime)
And I had to start Steffon Diggs because Allen Hurns was a game time decision. Of course Diggs gets 1 point and Hurns played and went off for 100+ yards and a TD.

Worst season ever.

Those are the same statements, the team is broken. Broken. Neither of these QBs is worth a damn, though.
