I jumped in at that point and mentioned simply that the Libertarian party isn't for the war in Iraq and isn't right wing. I also posted a link for him to click proving this as fact.
If he responds I'm going to politely ask him where he gets his news from because, holy shit is he misinformed on just about everything.

No, but I believe I've heard about it through other sources. Ironically, the same thing happens over here with our own brands of crazy...We also export that ish through our military thanks to Rummy's lowering of our standards. I haven't heard of that holiday. It's not a holiday in Texas, at least. But many are determined by the states anyway. I doubt any state other than Texas has "Remember the Alamo" Day as a state holiday, for example.

As for Catt's image from Jeff Gordon, that's pretty typical. I think during Bush's (W) run they started the Hitler comparisons and I don't see that ending anytime soon. The propaganda will say everyone right wing is a step closer to Hitler in the U.S. despite the fact that the historical similarities lie on the left side of the aisle.
