Or not.
Tebow, 28, and Barkley had been competing for the Eagles' No. 3 quarterback job behind Sam Bradford and Mark Sanchez. It is not clear whether Philadelphia plans to acquire another quarterback.
Bradford and Sanchez ... it's a tiny chance both stay healthy until the season's end. What old-ass scrub free agent are they eyeing?
Brady's dad still a complete dick. Apple didn't fall far from the tree in that family.

Reggie Wayne, Jonas Gray cut.
Scott Zolak, who is a former New England quarterback and current color analyst on the team’s radio network, reported that Wayne choose to leave the Pats because the “work environment was too tough” and “not fun” for the veteran receiver.

My standard league went keeper this year. $250 auction.
Fuck ups:
1) Paid $20 too much (read as "$20") for Vincent Jackson as my WR2 in an attempt to make someone else pay for him.
2) Picked up Sproles, but that's not a bad insurance policy since he's playing behind Mathews (who I got cheap) and Demarco (who almost never stays healthy).
3) Weaker at RB than I want. Lamar Miller, Justin Forsett, Ryan Mathews, Chris Ivory. Need to pick up Sproles after my IR trick (see below)
Steals:
1) Paid $3 combined for two decent TEs.
2) Got Forsett for $24.
3) John Brown for a few bucks.
Keeper rule: you get to pay exactly next year what you paid this year. Meaning you get a stud this year for $1, you pay $1 next year. One keeper is allowed next year. Next season, you can have two keepers and the same rule applies. After two seasons, I think we start going by ESPN value.
I hate having to worry about drafting a solid WR1. This year, I paid for it and got Downtown Tony Brown. I'd rather spend my serious cash on a RB1 because those dudes can be so ephemeral that keeping them isn't possible unless you luck out, buy cheap, and hit it big.
First waiver pickup is 3am next morning. Put in bids for Jordy and Kelvin (that no one drafted) to fill in my two IR slots while dropping Sproles and Tannehill. Plan is that keeper next year is going to be one of three WRs for $5 at most:
1) John Brown
2) Kelvin Benjamin
3) Jordy Nelson

They don't have an offensive line to coach, so it shouldn't matter much.

Big article on ESPN about the New England Cheaters.
Cheating fucking assholes.
Brady can eat a bag of dicks if he thinks his legacy is spotless.
Robert Kraft was at a party mingling with the judge who overturned Brady's suspension.
-During Spygate investigation, Roger Goodell ordered NFL execs to stomp 8 videotapes to pieces.
-From 2000-07, the Patriots recorded opposing coaches’ signals for at least 40 games.
-During Pats early SB runs, a low-level Patriots employee would sneak into visiting locker rooms and steal play sheets during pregame warm-ups.

Just curious what the top three or four picks were in your drafts? I have the number 2 pick this year and have a pretty good feeling of where I will be going with it.
The fact that Bell is suspended the first 2 games and he's a Steeler pretty much counts him out for me, but I'm not willing to commit to that yet. But it looks like Peterson, Charles, Lacy and Lynch are all pretty close too.
What are the top five picks for you guys?
This is the highest I've ever picked in this league and have had much more success in it when picking at the bottom of the round.

WORLD CHAMPIONS!!
I find it funny that most ranking publications has Lynch as like the 4th or 5th ranked RB. But dude has had over 1200 yds and double digit TD's for the last four years, yeah he isn't the biggest receiving target like Bell, but he's averaged about 30 per year. And our league isn't PPR so that's a plus for Lynch.
Tough decision to make.

If you're league isn't PPR, I'd go with this for top 10 RBs:
1) Jamaal
2) Lev Bell
3) Lacy
4) AP
5) Lynch
6) Murray
7) McCoy

9) CJ Anderson
10) Forte

Really?? I've gotta think that AP is number 1 all day, if he's there at 2 I'm taking him. After that, its a toss up in my book.
Lynch- solid steady numbers, but can he keep it up. Has lots of mileage on him
Bell- absolute stud, but missing 2 games.. and Steeler, blah.
Lacy- great team that likes to pass so touches might be limited. But I believe has the highest floor and a really safe pick.
Charles- I honestly don't know what to expect from this guy.

Yeah, I guess I was thinking that Charles was injured more often then he has been. But only one season (2011) did he not play 15 or more games.Malcolm wrote:Jamaal IS the KC offense.
I just never see the guy on TV in our area. Seen plenty of Vikings and Packers because they play the Lions and of course seen way too much Steelers. And Lynch is just a highlight reel. But Charles is an enigma to me, don't see much of him but he's consistently putting up numbers.
