I don't but I want one.

I've started playing at home now too. It's running on my second screen when I'm playing other games on my first screen.

I have a problem.

LOL, that's what I'm doing. I am using RDP on my server so that it can click bot in the background right now.

This one works well

I set the delay between click to 10ms. It looks like the game caps you at 80 clicks/s either way. And I have it set to start clicking based on a key, and if I leave the mouse hovering for 3s. I've only accidentally left it hovering on the wrong thing once.

I set up a macro last night before gong to bed that every ten minutes would click all the skills, the progression toggle, and a level on Frostleaf. I haven't look at the details of the results yet, but I did see that I was at level 174 before closing the window when I got up. That seems pretty good.

At high levels it's all about DPS, so I'm not sure an autoclicker for attacking would help much.

Well, I setup a bot to autoclick for me, and run through the skills every minute.

I did not set it up to autolevel. I ended up with 1,500N of gold from overnight, which still wasn't enough to level up my next minor hero to 1,000, so I reset.

As for DPS: my auto-clicker does 80 clicks/s. Even without criticals, that's more damage than my auto-DPS does.

I think I might ascend today.

My heroes are sitting at:
946
900
700 x8
600 x3
500 x3
300 x6
150 x2
100
and Frostleaf is at 52.

I'm being offered +10 to ascend, I've got 3 (1 twice) gilded heroes, and should be able to beat the lvl 140 boss before I ascend.

That sounds about right. I'd go ahead and do it. If the level 140 isn't primal (ie. no soul), just go ahead and ascend now.

I just looked and the guy at 135 has 2 souls to give. I tried beating him really quick, but I had 10,000s to go with no time left, so I'll easily beat him during lunch. At that point, I'll ascend.

The souls really make things a lot faster. I got really lucky on souls this morning, and picked up 7 from bosses (the 1 at level 100 is automatic, the others are luck). Add 7-8 more from hero levels, and this will be a good level up.

I was wrong, I'm at 173. Still, not bad. But I can't even kill one critter on this level in a reasonable amount time (it's been an hour an I'm till on 0/10), so I think it's time to ascend for +22 souls.

I got the guy at 135 so I'm ascending for +12 now, but I want my skills to reset so I can take a shot at 140. If I fail or he's not offering souls I'll just ascend.

The guy at 40 had nothing and I couldn't kill him. Thus, I ascended and things are going fast.

However, for the upgrades, specifically the ones aimed at improving your overall DPS. Should I sit on those until I boost my DPS for massive gains later?

For example:
A hero at lvl 25 gets a skill you can buy that boosts their DPS by 100%.

Let's say their DPS is 10. Do I buy that skill when they hit they level or do I wait to buy that skill until I "have to" later in the game when their level might be 100 and their DPS is 40?

I would assume the longer you wait on doing those upgrades, the higher your overall DPS by the end?

The way I understand it, those skills are just a permanent multiplier, so when they're base DPS goes up, the multiplier impacts that. I could be wrong.

After my great run, I've made it to 140 twice, with 0 primals. :(

I guess the only way to check would be to start two new games and advance exactly the same until you buy the first multiplier.

I think buying the first skill as you go is best. They're basically a x2 that still applies to all future leveling, so they're worth it.

Still until you get way down the list only the first 10 levels of a hero matter, after which their gain per cost is less than just getting the next hero started. Then go back later when the cost of leveling them further is insignificant based on your current income, although they won't really matter again until they hit 1000.

This game is highly exponential.

That sounds like a lot of effort.

Unlike the past 6 days I've been playing this game.

I did it.

Treebeast got his 100% boost at lvl 10 and at lvl 15 was doing 153.

Treebeast got his 100% boost at lvl 11 and at lvl 15 was doing 153.

Ok, I fucked up on that second play through and forgot what I was doing or I would have hit the 100% bonus at lvl 15, not 11. Still, I think it proved the point.

Get those skills whenever, it's all the same.

Yeah, now that I think about it: a few of the skills are ones that increase you clicking power in ratio to your DPS, and my click power keeps going up when my DPS does, so that makes sense.

10th ascension today.

Can run to L100 in <60 minutes. Up to L150 in 90 minutes. On a run right now where I've found 10 souls so far...

I'm going full auto-clicker plus powers macro tonight. With Juggernaut it might be good. We'll see.
