Terror Train (1980)

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Terror Train (1980)

Post by Leisher »

Currently on Prime.

A group of college students are having one final blowout and the setting is aboard a local train. They've rented it out, set up the entertainment, and for added fun, everyone is wearing a costume, except for one...

The costume-less party goer is Jamie Lee Curtis. You just figured out who makes it to the end right?

You'll also know the killer from the start, but you might not know who it is on the train.

This party is crazy, yet tame. People are fucking all over, although you only see one pair of tits, there's a band, there's a magician, and...wait...that dude looks just like David Copperfield. Holy shit, it's David fucking Copperfield and he plays a big role in the film.

This is definitely a late 70s-early 80s horror film. All the cliches are there, and more time is spent amping up anxiety than just slashing folks in half.

For a 40 year old film, it's not half bad.
“Every record been destroyed or falsified, books rewritten, pictures repainted, statues, street building renamed, every date altered. The process is continuing day by day. History stops. Nothing exists except endless present in which the Party is right.”
