Into the Dark - Good Boy (2020)

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Into the Dark - Good Boy (2020)

Cheryl Tunt is an aging woman that's still single and childless. Her clock is ticking and her life is going to shit. Steve Guttenberg(!) talks her into getting a support dog. She finds one at the pound and he's a cute little dog who immediately bonds with her. That's when her life starts turning around and bad things start happening to people who make her anxious.

This is a light-hearted horror. It's far more about her life falling apart and her descent into darkness as she tries to cover up the negative events that are benefiting her.

The biggest negatives are that nothing is ever explained or really shown. You never really see a kill nor do you ever really see the killer.

The dog is fucking adorable though.

Judy and Steve are really good. Judy played it exactly as she should have, and Steve is clearly having fun in front of the camera again.

It's a mildly entertaining horror that borders on comedy, but definitely no gem.
“Every record been destroyed or falsified, books rewritten, pictures repainted, statues, street building renamed, every date altered. The process is continuing day by day. History stops. Nothing exists except endless present in which the Party is right.”
