Drax is a cop with bad eyesight whose partner is gunned down by a notorious drug smuggler. Years later he gets a tip about the guy moving a major shipment. He can't drive though, so he calls an Uber driven by Kumail Nanjiani. What comes next is a buddy comedy movie between a blind monster cop and a wimpy Uber driver.
Bautista and Kumail have good chemistry, and it somehow seems to naturally grow as the movie goes on. The writing is predictable, but the dialogue is fun. Cool to see Betty Gilpin outside G.L.O.W.
It's ridiculous, but it has some funny moments. Worth seeing when you're in the mood for some action and chuckles.
