South Korean movie that sees a mentally challenged young man arrested for the murder of a local girl. His loving mother, maybe too loving?, will go to any lengths to prove her son's innocence.
There are some weird moments, particularly in the first act, that will make you question the mother-son relationship.
The overall story is a bit plodding, as more dramatic and artistic films seem to sometimes be, but it's very good. So good that I'm quite shocked Hollywood hasn't already bought the rights and remade it.
Recommended.
