Friday the 13th (uncut)(1980)

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Friday the 13th (uncut)(1980)

You know the movie. Watched it with the family. An adult woman, a 14 year old, and two 10 year olds. They laughed. A lot.

That made me realize that this is the movie that should be remade and rebooted. It had an actual plot, and some subtle film making that, if you don't know "who", could have made you question it. For example, pay attention to vehicles, shirts, knives, etc. The filmmakers actually tried to add some mystery.

However, the 70/early 80s production values and film making are on full display, and that shit doesn't age well.

Still a good story, but the fear factor just isn't there anymore.

Common sense media agrees with you.
It's not me, it's someone else.
