I have no idea what holiday this horror film is supposed to be about, but it's clearly a religious one.
It's about a camp where fathers and daughters come to celebrate, brainwash, and reaffirm their daughters' virginity in God's name.
There happens to be some supernatural force there that's pretty much fed up with the bullshit.
Cute girls, no nudity, lots of "men have double standards and want to control our bodies" stuff. Not a movie Gordon would enjoy.
It was ok. Honestly, the religious stuff and the dad-daughter dynamics were truly interesting. The supernatural stuff ruined the film.

“Every record been destroyed or falsified, books rewritten, pictures repainted, statues, street building renamed, every date altered. The process is continuing day by day. History stops. Nothing exists except endless present in which the Party is right.”

Those virginity pledges are kind of weird.
