Point Blank (2019)

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Point Blank (2019)

Post by Leisher »

Netflix

Anthony Mackie is a nurse whose wife is about to give birth. Frank Grillo is a criminal of some sort who gets captured by the law after getting hit by a car. Soon Mackie is forced to help Grillo escape, which puts them both on the run from the law.

It's ok. The performances are pretty solid by everyone in the film, including D who is clearly comic relief.

A couple of flaws, some ok action pieces, and flirtations with reality, like someone killing another person for the first time make this worth seeing once when you don't have better options.
“Every record been destroyed or falsified, books rewritten, pictures repainted, statues, street building renamed, every date altered. The process is continuing day by day. History stops. Nothing exists except endless present in which the Party is right.”
