Italian horror film that sees campers terrorized by a guy wearing a leatherface type mask.
This movie oddly picks up after three of the campers have already been abducted. In fact, two are dead. This makes a very normal text message from one of them a massive plot hole. As does their spotless campsite and the local named Ben.
Serious question: You live in a house on Crystal Lake. It's around Friday the 13th 5. Do you still live there? Ben does because he's a moron.
Another big plot hole is the killer having a name and the woods being his haunt. How does anyone know his name and why? The ending proves to us that nobody should know it. No authorities have bothered searching these woods where folks are apparently going missing? If they had, they would have found batshit crazy lady quite easily.
See, the killer is the son of a guy whose daughter pulls a prank on him that's WAY above a prank they pull on her. They scare her wearing a mask and it lasts 2 seconds. She reponds by burning the dad's face off with acid and while he's screaming in pain, she douses him with more laughing the whole time. The mom is already nuts, and the son murders the sister in retaliation immediately after the attack. Now he's an insane killer who nobody ever checked up on apparently, and he cuts people's faces off seeking his dad. (No idea.)
