He's Out There (2018)

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

He's Out There (2018)

Yay Netflix!

The hot girl from Chuck is a mother of two young girls. They head out to a cabin in the woods for a family vacation. Hubby is a few hours behind. Upon arriving they run into a caretaker whose personality is slightly aggressive enough to put the women on guard.

Later the ladies begin to notice things and realize they aren't alone.

First things first, the killer's mask is fucking awesome. One of the best I've ever seen.

Now for the bad. Everything else. The movie is sloooooooooow. There are only a handful of people, so you can pretty much guess who will die. (And can we please break the fucking mold with horror films? Please!?) The young girls are unbearable at times. The killer's monologue late in the film is pointless and rambling. The wounds people get and still function would make Jason Vorhees claim "ridiculous".

It's not a great horror film. Probably would appeal to ladies more because of the situation and the mother aspect.

A waste of a great mask.
