Sleepaway Camp (1983)

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Sleepaway Camp (1983)

Post by Leisher »

Yay Amazon Prime!

Haven't seen this one in years. Holy shit, would it be crazy unpopular in today's PC climate. Or maybe crazy popular? This would be an interesting conversation. Why? I'd love to say, but this will be spoiler free, just in case.

This is a fun movie to watch if you want to do your own Mystery Science Theater at home. The cast is a who's who of "who?" The worst possible acting and dialogue you can imagine. Still, it maintains a charm that's probably mostly nostalgia.

The story is there's a camp full of bratty kids and horny camp counselors. Folks start dying. That's all you need to know.

Terrible, but fun because of it.
