The Commuter (2018)

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

The Commuter (2018)

Post by Leisher »

Liam Neeson rides a train to and from work every day. Then a series of events leads him to search for someone on that train at the behest of an unknown third party. Shit goes south and predictable stuff happens.

It is what it is. This is not an action classic. Liam's over 60 now and it's tough to watch him fist fight much younger people. It worked in Taken because he was special forces. Here he's a former cop (a detective at that) and insurance agent. Not exactly a bad ass.

And I'm not kidding about predictable. If you're watching closely you'll know who's who almost immediately. The entire closing scene was completely devoid of drama as you know who's who and you even know exactly what's going to happen.

This is not a movie to buy or rent. This is a movie to catch for free when it hits HBO or even TNT. Even then, if you have something better to do, do it instead.
“Every record been destroyed or falsified, books rewritten, pictures repainted, statues, street building renamed, every date altered. The process is continuing day by day. History stops. Nothing exists except endless present in which the Party is right.”
