Yay Hulu!

An American teenage girl full of anger moves to England for the summer to stay with relatives. She quickly finds love...with her cousin... That's when war breaks out and England is invaded.

Really competently made and acted. The moment the war part starts is pretty cool.

It's an interesting film, but there were a lot of odd choices made. You hear her thoughts a lot, which was out of place. The opening sequence with the music and style definitely don't seem like they fit this movie. A love story with a cousin? A brief touch of nudity by the star, who may or may not have been 18...

By the way, a younger Tom Holland is in this movie.

They never explain who was invading nor do they show them close up. There's also a checkpoint that will make no sense by the end of its part in the story.

Beautiful film. Very interesting world events. But when all is said and done, this was about kissing cousins.
