It was meh. I expected better, after all the buzz.

Also have a little trouble believing in 1995 a NYC luxury hotel manager would tell the rich Chinese family to go stay in Chinatown.

London. Not New York. This, why the kids had British accents.

Very... Ornate, but predictable romcom.

My wife said the movie was better than the book, though.
