Godzilla: Monster Planet - Netflix series?

Or something. I'm not sure. It's an animated thing, and you can watch it in either Japanese or English, and the English dubbing is actually really good.

This trailer is in Japanese, but that doesn't matter. It's gorgeous.


Anyway, it had some interesting visuals in the previews, so I gave it a shot.

So far there are 2 episodes, each are movie length. "Mankind is destroying the environment" causes the rise of the monsters, and Godzilla is the worst of them all, and the last humans flee earth in a spaceship. But then they return 20 years later... 20,000 years later, due to relativity.... and they try to take back the earth.

It's interesting.

I said I was done with alternate timelines, but technically this one takes place in the future and could still happen.

Worth watching.
