House that Jack Built

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Bullshit, clickbait headline. Mark it fake news, and censor it.

A few paragraphs in:
Despite walkouts and groans during a few more brutal scenes, the film received a six-minute long standing ovation in the theater.

Yeah, but all those films get ovations, which are also bullshit.

Okja got boooed when the Netflix logo came on at the beginning, and standing-o'd at the end.

As those things go, Okja probably deserved a standing-o compared to a lot of the indy dreck that plays Cannes.

"Movie Received Appropriately" doesn't get people to click on the headline. Gots to sell those ads.

Why boo Netflix?

Is it because they're spending billions making movies that would otherwise never get made or because they're making movies available to their users that would otherwise never get seen?

Yep. And in France, movies can't even be shown on TV until 2+ years after they are shown in the theater, or some dumb shit like that.

Frenchies gonna pretentious.
