Simon Pegg stars as a wacky English fellow who goes to work for a famous NY magazine. This is a very formulaic "fish out of water" story where the fish is also the hero with a heart of gold despite his rough exterior. You've seen it a billion times and you'll know every bit of the plot before it even gets presented on screen. Right down to the ridiculous "none of this would ever happen in real life" moments. Every joke and twist you'll see coming from a mile away.
This movie also continues the new Hollywood trend of showing cocks rather than tits in comedies.
Jeff Bridges, Megan Fox (who gets down to bra and panties [which is just magnificent] and is awesome playing a dullard), Gillian Anderson, and Kirsten Dunst all co-star.
Everyone involved does a great job, it's just a rehashed story.
See it or don't.

“Every record been destroyed or falsified, books rewritten, pictures repainted, statues, street building renamed, every date altered. The process is continuing day by day. History stops. Nothing exists except endless present in which the Party is right.”
