Yay Amazon Prime!
Jamie Lanister is a normal guy with a normal life and then an innocent mistake happens, which leads to him being sent to prison. During his time, he's forced to join a prison gang to survive. The rest of the movie is a tangled web about a weapons shipment, his gang, his family, and law enforcement.
The Punisher and Michael Wesson also star. Bernthal plays a guy like Shane from TWD, and is a bit transparent, which is perfect for this role. Donovan is creepy as shit and nothing like Michael Wesson..
Really solid movie. Great acting and while the story has a hole here and there, it's interesting and makes a good statement.
Probably didn't get a lot of love during award season because it portrays a straight white man as a great father and husband.
One complaint: It's a bit long. Lots of shots of minor activities that add up like handcuffs being locked and unlocked, scenes of brooding, etc.
Good movie, see it.

Just noticed this is on Netflix now. Still recommended.
