Having only watched one episode, this is going to be hard for me to sum up.
- Future sci-fi.
- Has borrowed elements both from Demolition Man, and a sci-fi book I read by a guy named Hamilton in which people commonly "rebirth" themselves by backing up copies of themselves (eliminates perma-death, unless the offsite backup gets destroyed), and allows for eternal life, by implanting their consciousness into a fresh clone every so often. This show has that.
- Elements of Blade Runner... the rabble's existence looks kind of bleak.
- There's a murder-mystery.
- There's a conspiracy.
- And there's lots of boobies.
So yeah, not sure how to describe this one, yet, except to say I'll be watching the second episode.
It started getting better half way through, once dots started getting connected. Prior to that, it's just a bunch of mysterious unconnected dots, and I don't really like shows like that. Just give me an interesting, straight narrative with a beginning, middle, and end.
I've watched the first 2 eps. Some changes from the book, but mostly following the same.
So much skin.
Now that I've watched it... WAY more brutal in the book.

Hmmm. Big change in the middle of the series from the book, at least conceptually different. Playing out simiarly.

Bigger changes at the end. Similar plot, but enough changes to make it distinct from the book, like a parallel universe version of it.
Decent. Lots of nudity, some penis for Gordon at the end.
The series was a lot clearer about some points than the book was. Some things that were left ambiguous, were NOT ambiguous at all in the series. Revenge + justice existed in the end, and were much more present than the book.

I never read past the first book, so no idea how the tracking goes for Season 2.
Ep 4 and all of the copious nudity is gone. Just violence.

Canceled. I would still recommend seasons 1 and 2.
