No Escape

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

No Escape

Yay Netflix!

Owen Wilson moves his family to an Asian country that suffers from major civil unrest as soon as they arrive. Pierce Bronson is also in this film in some really convenient cameos.

The gist of the movie is that the locals are mad about corporate greed that's supported by foreign governments. Thus, they start executing foreigners. So Owen and his family are on the run in a foreign land.

You've REALLY got to stretch your imagination to allow this one to flow. There's a scene involving the U.S. Embassy that's complete bullshit and the main baddie always seems to be where Owen and his family are traveling, which is also shit.

It's a political statement meets chase film.

It's not a bad film, but it's not great either. It was fine to have on while I played a game.
