The wife and I have been watching this series. We started streaming the first couple of seasons and then picked up getting them as broadcast off the DVR. Excellent series to start with. Over the course of the first 4 seasons, there were highs and lows as in any series. Sometimes it became obvious that they were trying to fill space between major plot developments.
At any rate, they are following Ragnar Lothbrok mainly and a couple other historic Viking figures. Some liberties are taken with the characters vs historic lore.
Stopped watching this season as the show started getting a little too PC for the wife and I. PC vikings seemed kind of stupid.
